The World Health Organization performed a study in 1987 confirming that magnets have not shown any adverse effects on this condition. We do recommend that you consult your physician.

 

Can magnetic jewelry be used with pacemakers?

NO! The magnetic field can interfere with the mechanism in the pacemakers.

 

Can magnetic jewelry be worn near metal implants within the body?

Magnetic jewelry will react differently with various alloys. It is not recommended to wear a magnet directly on or very near the metal implant. However, the use of magnetic jewelry in other areas of the body may be satisfactory. If you experience any discomfort you should discontinue the use of the magnetic jewelry.

 

Are magnets safe to use with children?

Can magnetic jewelry be used with nicotine or estrogen medical patches?
